So now it is the end of July and I figured that I needed to update everyone on what my summer has been. To start out, I have joined the Primerica Team in helping people become financially independent, to get out of debt, and become properly covered. I have had a lot of fun with this but it is strange that people don't want help doing this. They think that their way is better and they can do it on their own. Well guess what, it isn't that easy. But for those of you who are going to read this, I can help you. But if I can't, then you know that you are in the best circumstance that you can be in. Also this summer, we were able to go to the Oquirrh Mountian Temple open house. We had a beautiful day but very windy. When we were sitting out side watching the little movie before we went in, we thought that the tent was going to fall down on top of us. It truely sounded like a hurricane outside. But then we went in and it is another very beautiful temple.

Earlier this year, we had decided that we needed to go on vacation. But with how hard it is to get time off for the both of us, we actually decided in February that we wanted to go spend a weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Ashcraft's home in Rexberg, Id, in July. We both put in our requests for going and were lucky to get it off. So from July 16th to the 19th, we were in Rexberg. It was a lot of fun just to go and chill and relax. We didn't have to be anywhere by and certian time and so we just did whatever we wanted. Friday we just bummed around Rexberg hitting up all the fun different shops in town and also the DI. We did find a couple of good finds. But then on Saturday, we went and did a session at the Rexberg Temple. That is a very pretty temple as well. A lot like the Oquirrh Mountian Temple.

You just have to have a good kissing pic every once in a while.
Afterwards, we decided that we were going to go to "BEAR WORLD". We had passed it on our way up to Rexberg and we thought it could be very interesting to see what they had. So we grabbed a few snacks and we out there. I love going to these sorts of places because it helps you feel like a kid again. When going there, you pay once and then you can go threw as many times as you want. So we figured that we would go threw and then go over to the gift shop and the other places there. Our first time threw, we had a lot of fun. We saw the white albino elk, the buffelo, some regular elk, and then we went into where the bears are. That was neat but the bears were all off doing their own thing. Some of the cubs were playing in a pond just for them. As we drove around we went around the bend and there were some big bears playing in the water. One of the bears was really funny because he kept touching the water with his paw and kept pulling it back out. It was like he was testing the water to see how cold it was but I knew it would have felt great because it was almost 100 degrees that day.

After going threw the first time, we went over to the gift shop and to the petting zoo area. They had the cutest black and brown bear cubs. I asked Kevin if I could have one and he just gave me the look of, "Are you Nuts??" and then he said, "umm, NO!" I was just joking but they really are very cute. Throughout our wanderings, we asked the people how often did the feeding truck go threw. They told us every hour on the half our. We looked out our watches and we had a couple of minutes before the feeding truck headed out. So we waited around until we saw it leaving. We quickly ran to get into our car so we could be the first car behind the feeding truck. Let me tell you, it was a whole different expirence being able to go behind the feeding truck. The bears all looked like little kids all lined up waiting to be feed. Kevin and I just laughed and took lots of pictures. Some of the bears would raise their paw as if to say, "my turn" or "choose me." It was a lot of fun. You can really see how close the bears came past our car. Kevin almost ran off the road while trying to take a pic of one bear but also trying not to hit another one. It was lots of fun.

Staying with Grandma and Grandpa Ashcraft was a lot of fun. We hope to make it a yearly tradition to be able to go up there and visit each summer.
